The friendliness of Turkey's people and the country's stark beauty had really impressed us

Kayseri is a large city, with many neon lit shopping malls, modern high-rise apartments and offices. It is one of Turkey’s commercial capitals but it is not a tourist town. This was evident as we rode in; people would stare and point at us as we cycled past.
