Kurdish television station appeals fine in Denmark

COPENHAGEN - A Kurdish satellite TV station says it has appealed a court ruling that found it guilty of breaching Denmark's anti-terror laws and imposed fines of 5.2 million kroner ($892,000).
Roj TV officials said Friday the station, which broadcasts from Denmark, had unfairly been portrayed as a mouthpiece for a Kurdish rebel group listed as a terror organization by the EU and U.S.
