Istanbul in Turkey gets 8 million tourists in 2011
ISTANBUL, Jan 5 (AsiaPulse) - The number of foreign tourists visiting Istanbul reached 8 million in 2011.
According to a statement released by the Istanbul Culture and Tourism Department, a total of 8,057,879 foreign tourists came to Istanbul in 2011.
In 2010, 6.9 million foreign tourists had visited Istanbul.
