Family of Kurdish refugees win six-figure out of court payout over unlawful detention

A FAMILY of asylum seekers have secured six-figure compensation after being locked up in a detention centre when they were children.
The Home Office has agreed the out-of-court settlement with the Ay family who were held in the Dungavel removal centre in Lanarkshire, for 13 months.
