259 Women Killed in Turkey in 2011

According to a data collection surveyed by bianet based on news of local and national newspapers and news agencies, 14 women were killed by Turkish men in December 2011. A total of 259 women were reportedly killed by male perpetrators throughout the year 2011; 118 women were raped.
