Turkey’s new Ambassador to northern Cyprus Halil İbrahim Akça will start his new post on Friday.
Turkish State Minister and chief EU negotiator Egemen Bağış met with Akça on Wednesday. 'Akça knows northern Cyprus closely. He knows well the dynamics of the relations between Turkey and the Turkish part of Cyprus and Cyprus's importance in EU negotiations,' Bağış said."
