"Turkey’s first nuclear power plant to cost 20 bln USD: report

Turkey’s first nuclear power plant, expected to be licensed by the end of 2011, would cost around 20 billion U.S. dollars, local media reported Wednesday.
The plant would be built by Russia’s state nuclear energy company ROSATOM in Akkuyu, Mersin Province on south Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, the semi-official Anatolia news agency quoted ROSATOM official Alexander Lokshin as telling a press conference in Istanbul."
