"Turkey urges fair talks over EU bid

A Turkish official has called on several countries of the European Union to hold fair negotiations over the country's accession to the 27-member bloc.
'What Turkey expects is fair negotiations,' Ankara's chief negotiator on EU accession Egemen Bagis told The Irish Times on Thursday.
'We don't want any special favors just because we are a large, economically feasible, dynamic and strategically situated nation with access to such a big market,' he added. "
