Kurdish protesters clash with police in Turkey Kurdish protesters have clashed with riot police in the southeastern Turkish province of Van.
The violence followed a meeting of the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party, condemning the deaths of nine Kurdish guerillas, killed in a clash with Turkish security forces in the southeast of the country on Monday."
