"EU : Turkey will be connected to European electricity grid using GE technology

GE energy giant says its smart grid technology will allow Turkey to be connected to the European electricity grid this year in September.
After the connection to the smart grid, Turkish company for electricity transmission (TEIAS) will be able to buy and sell energy in the European electricity market, reinforcing energy reliability and availability across Europe, says GE."
