In the expectation that the autumn travel season may not be as strong as they would have wished, a number of tour operators have further reduced the prices they plan to charge for October through mid-December departures. Because those reductions may affect travel plans, I’ve retained all 20 of the vacations described in our previous roundup of bargains, but changed the prices (either downward or adjusted for more popular dates) in more than 10 of them. Though a bargain may seem unchanged, a careful reading will show that the figures in them are different, or that additional departures have been added."
