NATO General Secretary Rasmussen has talked to Danish daily newspaper “Politiken”. Rasmussen tried to convince European parliamentarians of his views to trust to Turkey. Secretary- General emphasized that improving relations with Turkey is quite important for both NATO and the EU. Thus Rasmussen urged the EU “to take series of pragmatic steps to improve relations with Turkey, entirely outside the EU accession process.”"
