"Turkish lira, bonds gain as investors favour emerging mkts
ISTANBUL, April 7 (Reuters) - The Turkish lira hit a two-month high against the dollar on Wednesday, and bond yields retreated from recent inflation-fuelled highs, as foreign investors sought higher-yielding emerging assets.
Markets ignored news of three high-profile arrests late on Tuesday, following a fresh wave of military detentions in connection with an alleged 2003 coup plot, as shares eased only slightly from a record high set on Monday."
