"Tobacco & Liquor workers stage sit-in protest in Ankara
Workers of Turkey's tobacco and liquor monopoly staged a sit-in protest in the capital Ankara on Friday.

ANKARA- Turkish Tobacco and Liquor Administration (TEKEL) workers launched a sit-in protest after police did not let them make a press statement in front of the Turkish Confederation of Labor (Turk-Is) headquarters. "We will be in Ankara on June 3 to stay for three days, and also on July 4 to stay for four days," Mustafa Turkel, the chairman of the Tek Gida-Is, told reporters."
