Sabah - Turkey’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said Turkey will meet 20 percent of its energy needs from renewable sources by the year 2020. Attending the opening ceremony of Schneider Electric ’s latest factory in the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone, Yildiz said, “According to our plan, at least 20 percent of Turkey’s energy requirement will be generated using renewable energy sources by 2020. Carbon and sulfide emissions will be lowered by 20 percent and they will be 20 percent more economical.” "
