"Turkey's billet exports climbs 150 percent in February

SteelOrbis - According to the preliminary data released by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in February this year Turkey's total steel billet exports amounted to 184,951 metric tons, decreasing by 25.46 percent month on month and climbing by 150.88 percent compared to February 2009. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $82.18 million, increasing by 195.57 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, but down 23.36 percent over January."
