"Three Turkish newspapers suspend membership in int’l press body

Three Turkish newspapers, Sabah, Zaman, and Star, have suspended their membership in international media organization the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) in protest of the organization’s report on press freedom in Turkey by accusing WAN-IFRA of being one-sided in a report on freedom of the press and consulting only with members of Turkey’s Doğan Media Group when drafting the report."
