When I was in Washington I talked to U.S. authorities specialized in terror and to authorities of the northern Iraqi administration in the U.S. capital about recent PKK initiatives. Their judgments based on intelligence from Turkey and northern Iraq were very interesting. What I heard is in accordance with some of our own interpretations.
According to specialists, what’s happening is nothing but a struggle of the PKK and Öcalan to be on the safe side."
