"Assad heads to Ankara next week
DAMASCUS, Syria, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Syrian President Bashar Assad announced he accepted an invitation by the ruling Justice and Development Party to visit Ankara
on Wednesday.
Assad plans to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss trade relations between the two countries, the official Syrian Arab News Agency reports."
