Süheyl Ünver wrote a piece many years ago titled 'Judas Trees and Bosporus,' in which he lamented the fact that İstanbullites did not exert any effort to observe and enjoy the city's Judas trees (Erguvan). Ünver was right, and today, many people still don't know about the Judas trees that decorate the scenery of the Bosporus with their stunning pink flowers."
