Turkey could block the Danish prime minister from becoming the next head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) because of anger over the Danish cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, which sparked riots throughout the Muslim world in 2006, and because of Denmark’s past positions on Turkey."
