In addressing the meeting at the Goethe Institute Sua Saracoglu stated that it was a great pleasure to welcome the members of the Chambers to the joint event ‘Business Cooperation for Our Common Future’. He stated that they were truly honoured to have the privilege of hosting the two Cypriot Leaders today and were delighted that they had been able to accept their invitation to address the meeting on this very important topic. He went on to state that the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce is an ardent supporter of finding a fair, lasting and comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem and that the Chamber has played a leading role in transforming the Turkish Cypriots and mobilising an enormous grassroots movement for a solution and EU membership during the 2004 referenda period, in parallel with its ‘Solution and the EU’ vision."
