"President: No Cyprus peace deal serving Turkey
NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) - Any deal to reunify war-divided Cyprus that is engineered to serve Turkish or other countries' interests is doomed to fail, the island's president said Friday.
Dimitris Christofias, a Greek Cypriot, said Turkish and foreign leaders are wrong to believe any peace deal tailored to their wishes will succeed."
