"Istanbul prices to rise on Culture Capital status
Foreign property prices in Istanbul are set to rocket on the back of the city being named European Culture Capital.
That's according to one expert, Ozgul Ozkan Yavuz, who is responsible for organising part of the city's Istanbul 2010 event, as he suggests that an influx of artisans into the Turkish capital could make buy-to-let investments particularly attractive."
