"Turkish Cypriots cancel war game
NICOSIA: The Turkish Cypriots announced yesterday that annual war games with Turkish forces would not go ahead on the island this year after the Greek Cypriots cancelled their annual manoeuvres.
Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat’s spokesman Hasan Ercakica said that as “a goodwill gesture” it had been decided “not to conduct the Toros Exercise in the north”."
