"Peace rally in Cyprus

Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot women have gathered on National Women’s Action Day for Peace at the checkpoint in Ledra street to demand peace and the reunification of Cyprus.
In a joint declaration they adopted on Saturday, they sent a message of peace to all women in Cyprus and the world at large and called on them to strengthen the global struggle of women for peace in the whole world while they expressed their desire to end conflicts and wars."
