One of the biggest romance spoilers upon entering a marriage is planning ahead for a divorce. Although Turkey is among the top ten countries with the lowest incidence of divorce, the rate has been trending upward since 2001. The shift is mostly attributable to the changing societal role of women in Turkish society and the increased occurrence of adultery and financial difficulties."
