The situation at Bafa Lake has become dire, according to one local authority.
The Public Waterworks Administration 21st District deputy manager Mehmet Kurugöllü said: "There's no water entrering or exiting Bafa Lake except the rain. The water level in Bafa Lake has decreased to plus 1.55 meters.""
