Tourism Overview Turkey recorded an impressive recovery in foreign visitor arrivals in 2007, with buoyant growth of 17.8% year-on-year (y-o-y) to over 23.3mn arrivals. This also contributed to a favourable outturn for the hospitality sector. The most recent data for Q108 show that the hospitality sector continues to perform strongly, although growth
rates are slightly lower than in the corresponding period of the previous year."
