The Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat in an address to the “nation” after returning to the occupied areas from the meeting with President Christofias, analysed the Turkish side’s position on the solution to the Cyprus problem.
Here is his address is in full:
“We want to find a solution for the Cyprus problem and we will work for it. However, this solution should be a solution which will be able to safeguard the vested rights of the Turkish Cypriot people."
