"Egypt: Foreign Minister's consultations with his Turkish Counterpart, in Ankara, tackled bilateral relations and the regional situation
In statements following his arrival in Ankara, Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that the first consultations session with the Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will tackle bilateral relations, regional situation, developments in the Middle East, and Union for the Mediterranean project. Aboul Gheit affirmed the profound and historical relations between Egypt and Turkey. These consultations come within the context of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Dialogue signed between both countries in Istanbul, in November 2007."
