According to statistics from the Turkish consulate in Stockholm, more than 170,000 Swedes visited Turkey this year between January and June, which was a 20 percent rise compared to last year. The most popular destinations for Swedes are Istanbul in the winter and Antalya in the summer. Most Swedish tourists prefer to stay at apart-hotels, officials said."
