"Cyprus government drops legal action against EU aid to Turkish Cypriots
NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) - Cyprus has dropped legal action to block part of an EU financial aid package to the breakaway Turkish Cypriot community in the ethnically divided island's north, an official said Tuesday.
Cyprus has withdrawn lawsuits filed with the European Court of Justice to annul eight tenders worth ¤10 million (US$15.5 million) in
total, government spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said."
