How do you explain this 'madness'? This has been the question, in various forms, I have been asked since Friday. I was in London when the breaking news about the indictment against the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) came, and I spent the rest of the evening clarifying the possible 'rationale' behind it. In a nutshell, the lawsuit, filed with the Constitutional Court, seeks to close the party because of what it describes in detail as 'anti-secular activities'."
