Adequate attention is not paid to dental care in Turkey. Even though the market for toothpaste amounts to $143 million, toothpaste consumption in Turkey only equals one-fifth of the consumption in the Netherlands. A toothbrush needs to be renewed every three months, but it may as well be used as long as four years in Turkey, reports the daily Milliyet"
