A Belgian appeals court on Thursday quashed the convictions of seven Turks found guilty of being members of a terrorist group, but gave three of them suspended prison sentences for other charges.
In April last year, Belgium's highest court had ordered a retrial after ruling that one of the judges handling the first trial in 2006 appeared not to have been impartial."
