The EU issue, pushed to the background for some time now, is being pushed back on the agenda by the turban issue. The two most important points under discussion at present are the reforms and Sarkozy's suggestion -supported by Merkel- to organize a tripartite meeting between Erdoğan, Merkel and Sarkozy to discuss the two other countries' objections to our EU project."
