Prime Minister Erdoğan gave everyone hope for the solution of the Kurdish problem after his speech in Diyarbakir in the spring of 2005. However, now we understand that his speech was made as preparation for possible early elections. Anticipated early elections did not happen, and the government had not taken any concrete step from May 2005 to May 2007 for the resolution of the problem. Therefore, arms spoke, blood spilled, and mothers cried. "
