"Deadly clashes between Turkish Army and PKK
Wednesday, December 05, 2007 10:38 GMT A Turkish Army officer and six Kurdistan Workers Party rebels were killed including four women on Tuesday in clashes in mountainous Sirnak region in south eastern Turkey. In a statement for Turkish Staff Committee, it said that the bodies of PKK rebels were identified noting that the killed are members of a group responsible for killing 13 soldiers on October 7."
