Sunday mornings for many people is, well, Sunday morning; a quiet slow time for yourself or family perhaps? But after a slow start I had to consider myself fortunate to be out in Bitez to be among a handful of people listening to some remarkable women talking about their achievements over the last 10 years. But first wind back the clock to the dark days of December 1997 when the Kardak crisis erupted between Greece and Turkey, an argument over a small rocky island that sits off the Bodrum Peninsula in the still unresolved sea boundaries of the two countries, that had tanks and hotheads rattling through the streets for a few days. "
