Leon Coşkun, chairman of the board of the auditing and accounting firm Mazars/Denge Group, notes that until recently foreign interests investing in Turkish companies pushed many firms to sell off their real estate holdings; however many have shifted course and begun buying companies solely to acquire their land assets. According to Coşkun, real estate is a long-term investment and this shift in foreign interest indicates growing trust both in the real estate sector and Turkey as a whole. "
