Mehmet Ali Talat, president of northern Cyprus, delivered a speech on Wednesday at a symposium organized by the Liberal Group at the European Parliament in Brussels. Indicating that northern Cyprus has made adjustments in its political structures to integrate with the European Union, Talat noted that northern Cyprus still maintained its pro-EU stance despite the EU's failure to keep its promises.
