"Italian AgustaWestland says it may produce helicopters in Turkey
Italian-based AgustaWest-land, which won Turkey’s long-awaited attack helicopter tender in March this year, is now preparing to invest in Turkey.
Giorgio Zappa, central operating officer of Augusta parent company Finmeccanica, announced yesterday during the “Finmeccanica Industry Day” held in Ankara that their company will decide in a year to produce a new model of middle-class helicopter in a plant in Turkey."
