The Iraq Study Group (ISG), painting a dire picture of the Iraqi quagmire in its report, also focused on the woes of Iraq's neighbours, including Turkey. Ankara would certainly be pleased to see that its concerns about the "soon-to-explode" ethnic powderkeg Kirkuk and the Kurdish problem are recognized. But there are signs in the report that the Kurdish issue will be utilized as a �wild card� to involve Turkey deeper into Iraqi affairs. "
