ANKARA - Turkey�s main opposition party has spoken out against plans to deploy Turkish troops in Lebanon following the cease fire with Israel, claiming that it would be a quagmire. On Monday, Cevdet Selvi, a deputy chairman of the Republican People Party (CHP) strongly criticised the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), which is has said it favours sending a Turkish contingent to Lebanon as part of a United Nations mandated peacekeeping force."
