Diplomatic sources have announced the U.S. Administration has agreed upon the Turkish Foreign Ministry’s appeal on a meeting with Prime Minister Erdogan and U.S. President George W. Bush.
Trend special correspondent in Ankara reported the Turkish PM’s visit to Washington would take place around 5-6 October. However, this visit coincides with the official visit of German Prime Minister Angela Merkel to Ankara. Erdogan’s meeting with the German MP is of great importance in that it will precede the new stage of talks on Turkey’s entry into the European Union."
