Of course it's useful that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan travels to European capitals and important forums to make speeches and explain Turkey's views but that's not enough. Turkey has a perennial public relations problem with Western countries which always hurts our international affairs.
When the prime minister speaks at an important European forum only ranking European take note of what he says but his remarks hardly get prominent play in the Western media. Thus the European masses are unaware of what he has to say and what Turks think on critical issues."
