The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) is celebrating the 14th anniversary of its establishment. I am a close witness of how it came to existence since I was a close aide of the late President Turgut Ozal whose brainchild the BSEC is. It was entirely born out of Ozal's brain. However, the moment it came into existence, it had nothing to do with what Ozal envisaged it to be. And, at 14 year of age, it has aged so much that it looks senile."
