"TRNC praises opportunity to resolve Cyprus dispute under UN

Turkish Cypriot political parties late Tuesday welcomed the outcome of the recent meeting of Cypriot leaders, describing it as a new opportunity in which a solution will be sought to the Cyprus issue under the United Nations' auspices.
'Despite efforts by the Greek Cypriot administration to try to prospects of a solution on Cyprus under the European Union, the new outcome is a new opportunity for us to search for a solution under the UN's auspices,' Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer said"
