The European Union has decided to extend its ban on imports on poultry products and pet birds from Turkey until the end of 2006.
The EU Commission said on Tuesday that the ban on imports of poultry products and pet birds imposed on four countries including Turkey, China, Malaysia and Thailand had been extended."
